YAMAWA EUROPE S.P.A. - Yamawa: Japanese Perfection, since 1923
Yamawa: Japanese Perfection, since 1923
Founded in 1923, Yamawa is a global leader in high-precision threading solutions. With 100% quality control and four specialized Japanese factories, we ensure reliable machining. Since 2016, Yamawa Europe has provided dedicated support and expertise from its Venice headquarters to quickly meet the needs of European customers.
Yamawa has chosen Elmia Production Fairs to present the most recent products and his broad product range. Visitors at the Nordic region's largest business arena for production in the manufacturing industry, will have the opportunity to learn more about Yamawa high-precision threading solutions.
EHRZ, THE INNOVATIVE ROLL TAP
The innovative, high performance roll tap EHRZ makes its official debut in Scandinavia at Elmia. Specifically designed for threading carbon steels up to 40 HRC and stainless steel, this roll tap sets new standards for precision and surface finish. The exclusive lobe profile, wide coolant grooves, and special coating drastically reduce the torque and ensure long tool life. The EHRZ tap is already available from stock in diameters ranging from M3 to M16 and MF8x1 to MF16x1.5.
THE VU SERIES: THE EVOLUTION OF HIGH PERFORMANCE TAPPING
The cornerstone of the Z-PRO family is the VU Series, featuring spiral pointed taps for through holes (VUPO) and spiral fluted taps for blind holes (VUSP) specifically designed for use in modern machining centers with either oil or emulsion, ensuring maximum performance, high quality, and manufacturing flexibility. Following the success of VU series, Yamawa has introduced the VUSP CH coated spiral fluted taps with axial coolant holes, the VUSP 1.5P with short chamfer, and broadened the range with oversized classes: ISO3X(6GX), 7GX, ISO2X(6HX)+100.
HV SERIES: SUPERIOR CHIP EJECTION AND STABLE TAPPING
Originally developed for heavy industry applications to solve the issue of frequent breakages due to chip thickness, the HVSP HSS spiral fluted taps with oxidation (OX) surface treatment are now available in numerous sizes and metrics. The special "heel" design of the cutting edge geometry prevents chip incursion from the back side of the chamfer thread portion during reverse motion. The BLF shape on the full thread portion produces excellent cutting performances enabling the prevention of flute chipping problems, while the unique flute design ensures smooth chip ejection for an excellent thread finish. In addition to the HVSP taps, the HV series includes HVPO spiral pointed taps for through holes, featuring a unique flute shape to achieve excellent internal threads and long tool life thanks to smooth chip ejection and reduced cutting resistance. Thanks to the optimal flute design, this range performs exceptionally well even with long-chipping steel, using either oil or emulsion. The HVPO ZP taps manufactured with 3 types of oversized classes (ISO2X(6HX)+100, +200, +300) mainly used for the production of internal threads on parts of large metal structures such as building or bridges before the protective hot-dip galvanizing treatment, necessary to resist rust and corrosion, are the latest introduction to the HV Series.
Z-PRO SERIES: A RANGE IN CONTINUOUS GROWTH
Building on the success of the VU and HV Series, the portfolio has expanded to include specialized solutions engineered for the most demanding machining environments.
Key highlights of the expanded range include:
MH Series: Engineered for exceptional performance in carbon steel and medium-hardness high-alloy steels.
PM "Red Ring" Series: Specifically designed for tapping hardened steels up to 45 HRC, making it an essential tool for the mold and die industry.
GGST Series: Optimized for high-wear applications involving cast iron and abrasive materials.
EHRZ Series: A high-performance roll tap developed for precision processing of steel up to 40 HRC.
With these strategic additions, Yamawa reaffirms through the Z-PRO family its commitment to providing reliable, high-precision threading solutions that maximizes productivity across diverse material applications.
