To highlight this, every year the fair appoints ambassadors who, through their activities and innovation, give the manufacturing industry extra oxygen and strength into the future.

Ambassador 2026 - Mikroponent

Elmia Subcontractor is proud to present Mikroponent as the first ambassador for the 2026 fair. Based in Värnamo, the company is a specialized manufacturer of thin sheet metal components for demanding applications, with customers ranging from medical technology and the defense industry to space, design, and advanced industrial production.

Jörgen Lindqvist is the CEO of Mikroponent, which has around 30 employees. The company was founded in 1973 and has been part of Scandinavian Astor Group since 2023 – a group focused on high-tech and customised solutions for the defence and industrial sectors. Mikroponent has been a loyal exhibitor at Elmia Subcontractor since 1976.
