Application and important dates

→ Application opens: 26 March 2026
→ Application closes: 31 August 2026
→ Participation in Elmia Garden: 30 September – 1 October  
→ Last day for delivery of nominated products: 29 September at 12:00
→ Winner of Garden Product of the Year announced: The Garden Product of the Year will be announced in spring 2027.

Competition process

• Registration: All products must be registered using the form, which must be completed in full and submitted by 31 August.
• Nomination phase: Five products will be selected and nominated for the Elmia Garden Award. Confirmation of nomination will be sent out in early/mid-September.
• Presentation at the fair: The nominated products will be displayed at Elmia Garden.
• Pitching your product: During the jury's test day in January/February, the nominated products will be given the opportunity to pitch to the jury via Teams (max. 5 minutes per product).
• Winners announced: In spring 2027, the winner of the Garden Product of the Year award will be announced.

Who can participate?

All exhibitors and co-exhibitors at Elmia Garden 2026 are welcome to participate with their products. The product must not have been entered in the Elmia Garden Award before.

Assessment criteria

The product must:

• Be intended for the consumer market and be available in Sweden. Product development and/or manufacturing in Sweden is an advantage.
• Be novel and/or contribute to the development of the industry. A completely new or clearly innovative product is an advantage.
• Be able to be physically displayed at Elmia Garden 2026.
• Pay particular attention to being environmentally friendly in terms of product or use.

Participation fee

The cost for nominated products is SEK 1,495 (excluding VAT), which includes exposure in the exhibition's news area, a sign pointing to your own stand, a news sign to place in your own stand, and text and images in a printed summary that will be available to the press. In addition, the information will be published on all of Elmia Garden's digital channels.

The registration fee is payable by invoice after the end of the fair.

No fee is charged for products that are not nominated.

Practical information for nominated products prior to and during Elmia Garden

• Nominated products must be delivered fully assembled to Elmia by 12.00 on 29 September at the latest. Each exhibitor is responsible for removing their product during the exhibition's move-out period. Please notify Elmia if the product is to be left behind for the jury's test day.
• Elmia decides how the products are placed. They may be displayed together with other products.
• Each nominated product has a news sign, and exhibitors also receive a sign to use for the identical product displayed in their own stand.
• The news area is unstaffed and visitors are not allowed to touch the products. Elmia is not responsible for any damage or loss.
• All information submitted will be treated confidentially by Elmia until the nominations are announced.
• When marketing your participation or win, Elmia's official logo for Garden Product of the Year must be used.
• Elmia is not responsible for the accuracy of the information provided about the products.
