That's why we have created a seminar scene in the fair's Competence by Subcontractor arena with space for around 25 participants where our exhibitors have the opportunity to highlight their expertise, their experiences and their ideas in front of an engaged audience.

Competence Stage is a platform for knowledge sharing, inspiration, and networking – complementing the activities taking place in the exhibition stands. It creates value for both speakers and attendees, with a strong focus on topics shaping the future of the manufacturing industry.
By bringing together industry experts, innovators, and problem-solvers within one dedicated program, we demonstrate that Elmia Subcontractor is more than a trade fair – it is a meeting place for new knowledge, collaboration, and future business opportunities.
For exhibitors, participation as a seminar or workshop host is completely free of charge. Submit your expression of interest via the form below. Until August 31, exhibiting companies at Competence by Subcontractor and SMART by Subcontractor have priority booking for seminar slots at the Competence Stage.
Sessions hosted on the Competence Stage must be seminars or workshops that are educational, knowledge-enhancing, and relevant to the manufacturing industry. The purpose is to strengthen professional competence and provide real value to attendees – not to serve as a sales pitch or product launch. For promotional presentations, exhibitors are instead referred to the Exhibitor Stage.

A seminar gives you a unique chance to show the depth of your expertise, something that often weighs more heavily than a brochure or quick booth talk.
Create quality business relationships - before the sales call even begins
Visitors who attend a seminar are often more engaged and have a concrete interest in the topic. This means that you get in touch with a target group that is already warm - and who might not have stopped at the booth otherwise. After the seminar, you have a natural topic of conversation and an opening for further dialogue.
The seminar stage has a flexible structure where tables and chairs can be moved to suit the content of your session. If it is a workshop, lecture or group discussion, the furniture will of course be affected. Participants have the opportunity to take notes, and you are welcome to bring your own notebooks and pens or let participants use their laptops.
The company holding the seminar administers invitations to the seminar itself via a tool of your choice, if you wish. You are responsible for filling the places at the seminar. Elmia Subcontractor does not administer registrations for the individual sessions, however, the seminar program is marketed and published in its entirety on Elmia Subcontractor's website and shared on the fair's social channels. Companies holding a seminar can also take advantage of a marketing kit provided by the fair, consisting of digital banners in the style of the fair.
