Assignments

The competitors receive two secret assignments, which are presented at the start of the competition. The color scheme and inspiration are drawn from one of the new trends in Elmia Garden Trends (released in May). All materials are provided on-site.

Judging

The assignments are evaluated through a blind judging process, meaning the judges do not know which florist created which piece. Each category—color, composition, idea, and technique—can receive up to 25 points. The evaluation considers composition rules, grouping techniques, rhythm, balance, proportions, external shape, color transitions, creativity, stability, and firmness.

Elite Competition – 30 September

• Cost: 3,000 SEK (excluding VAT)
• Number of participants: Maximum 20

Novice Competition – 1 October

You may have participated in a maximum of three physical competitions.

• Cost: 2,000 SEK (excluding VAT)
• Number of participants: Maximum 20

Payment and Cancellation Terms

To facilitate planning and secure your place, the following applies:

• Payment is due 30 days in advance and must be received by us before the competition begins. Failure to pay may result in your place being offered to someone on the reserve list.
• Participants who are offered a place at short notice or via the reserve list must pay immediately to secure their place.
• Your place is confirmed once you have paid the invoice.
• Registration is personal and your place cannot be transferred or sold to another person.
• Please note that no fees will be refunded in the event of withdrawal or cancellation.
• If you cancel after 17 August, the full entry fee will be charged.

Registration is open from 8 April to 24 June.
