Auxante: "We want to be the colleague you can trust"

Auxante: "We want to be the colleague you can trust"
When Auxante participates as an exhibitor at Elmia Subcontractor's competence arena, Competence by Subcontractor, for the second year in a row, it is not primarily about finding new customers. Instead, they are focusing on something more fundamental – meeting, talking and strengthening relationships within the industry.
– For us, the most important thing is to show that we exist and that we want to be part of the industry in the long term, says Linus Lööw Spadaro, founder and CEO of Auxante.

The name Auxante is rooted in the founding brother's interest in music. The letters AUX, which are often seen in music studios, sparked an idea in the two brothers Linus and Simon. With a touch of Latin – where aux means "help" and ante "before" – a name was born that symbolized the company's philosophy: to be one step ahead and be a helping hand.

Niche knowledge in a broad industry

With a background in industry, Auxante has chosen to focus where they can really make a difference – in the manufacturing industry, preferably where production is technically challenging.

- The difficult thing is not finding white-collar workers for the industry. The really difficult thing is finding really good fitters, mechanics, electricians and the like. Competencies that require both knowledge and feeling and that's where we come in. It's not just about the CV, but about really understanding both the person and the production – and being able to see potential even where the candidate doesn't always see it themselves, says Linus.

Staffing with heart and reality

Auxante was founded in the shadow of the pandemic and has since navigated its way through both semiconductor shortages and global restructuring. Today, the company has around 25–30 consultants working, mainly in the Stockholm region but also in eastern and southern Sweden. In addition, it has access to on-call electricians who can come to customers – a service that is appreciated by customers.

– Despite some challenges, we have grown every year – which we are very happy about. Perhaps it is precisely because we have had to continuously adapt that we have been able to change, and keep up with the needs of our customers.
Although Auxante is formally a staffing and recruitment company, in practice it tries to do things differently – more personal, technical and realistic.

– Many people say that the best employees are those who come in through a friend. We try to be that friend – who can vouch for a recruited colleague, says Linus.

The human touch and trust are central to Auxante's work with its customers. That is precisely why they see fairs like Elmia Subcontractor as important contexts to participate in.

– In an email or phone call, it is difficult to show what sets us apart from the crowd. But when you meet, you quickly realize that we are not traditional HR academics. We come from the floor, and it shows, says Linus.

Back at Elmia Subcontractor, with a focus on long-term relationships

After a successful first year as an exhibitor at Elmia Subcontractor's competence arena, Auxante is back again this year. But the aim is not to land deals directly, but to build on relationships and show that we are here to stay. Linus elaborates:

– For us, being present at Elmia Subcontractor is an investment. We may not go home with concrete leads, but we do go home with new insights, contacts and perspectives. And we believe that is at least as valuable.
