At Innovation Square we bring together selected exhibitors who show how AI and new technologies can already today - and in the future - contribute to smarter working methods, increased efficiency and reduced environmental impact. There is also a stage where we highlight future issues through seminars, panel discussions and presentations linked to the theme.
Along the updated fairground loop, there are three strategically placed stages where visitors can learn about industry news, listen to experts and be inspired by solutions for the future of forestry - right in the centre of the action:
Innovation Talk – offers a broad programme focusing on future technology, business development and sustainability. Here we will discuss how AI is changing forestry, how digitalisation can increase competitiveness, and how new innovations are driving development forward - both globally and locally. The topics range from raw material supply and measurement technology to climate adaptation, value chains and the green transition.
The stage is a central part of Innovation Square, where exhibitors and speakers together show how technology is taking forestry into the future.
Nordic Forest Talk – highlights current challenges and future issues affecting the forests from a research and climate adaptation perspective. Visitors will learn about storm damage, forest fires, spruce bark beetle and diseases in Nordic forests. The programme is produced by Föreningen Skogen.
Wood Talk – is the stage where practice and reality take centre stage. Here, visitors can can listen to live podcasts, discussions and personal experiences from different parts of the forest sector - from multiple use and arboristics to climate issues, safety and forest logistics. Through the dialogue-driven format, the stage becomes a living meeting place for inspiration, reflection and knowledge - directly from the industry's everyday life.
