Founded in 1987, Semicon is a Polish company specializing in electronics manufacturing and photonics. Their broad service offering includes EMS production, SMT stencils, laser modules, PCB testing, SMD tape & reel services, adhesive tape converting, and the distribution of high-quality electronic components. With four offices in Warsaw and a highly skilled team, they serve high-tech industries such as aerospace, defense, automotive, and medical.
– Our strength lies in combining scientific expertise with real-world production. We offer advanced, tailor-made solutions even for the most demanding applications, says Piotr Ciszewski, Director of R&D and EMS at Semicon.
Semicon’s services include advanced PCB assembly, laser technologies, and high-level testing systems, all backed by quality standards that meet IPC requirements. At the fair, the company will showcase several innovations, including flexible PCB assembly technology (FLEX-PLUS) for miniaturized and non-standard devices for critical applications, the Internet of Things and Industry 4.0, as well as precise Flying-Probe testing and custom-built ICT/FCT testers.
But for Semicon, technology is only part of the equation. The real focus is on creating long-term collaborations.
– We already work with many Scandinavian companies and know they appreciate our flexibility and reliability. Elmia offers a unique chance to build new relationships, learn about local market needs, and show how we can support them from idea to final assembly, Piotr continues.
Although it is their first time at the event, Piotr and his team have heard much about Elmia Subcontractor from industry peers. Known for its strong networking potential and targeted focus, the trade show is viewed as one of the most valuable meeting points for industrial suppliers and buyers in northern Europe.
– We were told that Elmia is where real conversations happen, where you meet the right people and discover what is really happening in the market. That is exactly what we are hoping for. We don’t just want to present ourselves; we want to listen, exchange knowledge, and get inspired, says Piotr.
Although they do not yet have memories of the fair, the team arrives with great enthusiasm and high hopes for making this a valuable milestone in Semicon’s international journey.
Semicon will also use their participation to scout for new technologies, materials, and partners who can help further automate and innovate their electronics production. With a highly qualified engineering team and full in-house capabilities from prototype to full production, they are prepared to handle complex and customized projects for the most demanding industries.
– We bring with us not just our services but our know-how, our passion for innovation, and our belief in real partnerships. We hope this is the beginning of many exciting collaborations in Scandinavia, Piotr concludes.
