As one of the Nordic region’s leading suppliers of CNC-machined plastic components, the company delivers high-tech solutions to large and medium-sized companies in the automotive, defense, food, and medical technology industries. In recent years, the focus has shifted towards technically advanced plastic machining to meet increasing customer demands.
– Our core business is developing more and more towards technically advanced plastic machining, where the requirements for component tolerances are constantly tightening. Development is moving fast as our customers increasingly choose plastic as a construction material instead of traditional alternatives, says Michal Berg, Sales Manager at Nordic Polytech Group.
Nordic Polytech Group has a long history at Elmia Subcontractor, first under the name Molybon and since 2012 under its current name. For Michal, the role of the fair is clear:
– We see the fair as a large customer meeting, where our sales team is available to answer questions, both commercial and technical. These are questions our customers may not always have time to ask in their busy everyday work, says Michal.
Michal also emphasizes the importance of personal meetings:
– Elmia is a unique place where we can meet our customers face-to-face and strengthen relationships, even though we already meet them both here in Trelleborg and at their own sites, he continues.
Elmia Subcontractor also gives Nordic Polytech Group the opportunity to present its latest investments and discuss new ideas with customers.
– The fair is a valuable forum where we can talk about our customers’ technical challenges and together find innovative solutions based on modern technology and know-how, says Michal.
This year the company highlights its ISO 14644-1 class 8 cleanroom, which enables cleaning, assembly, and packaging for industries with high cleanliness requirements.
– It is an important investment, not least for medical technology but also for other sectors where cleanliness demands are increasing. We will also present our latest machine investments and our automation technology, which makes us a market leader in our industry, Michal continues.
For Nordic Polytech Group, the fair is just as much about relationships as it is about technology. One example is their popular booth lunch.
– One of my best memories from the fair is when we first started inviting customers to lunch in our booth. We had a fantastic turnout, with customers stopping by to rest, enjoy a good meal, and have conversations in a relaxed setting. It’s an activity we still offer today, because we know our customers truly appreciate it, Michal concludes.
