“Digitalization is no longer about technology – but about efficiency and competitiveness”

“Digitalization is no longer about technology – but about efficiency and competitiveness”
When Elmia Subcontractor opens its doors in November, Sitevision will be back as an exhibitor – this time with a full focus on digitalization, AI and the smart industrial solutions of the future. For Jennifer Wenchert, partner marketing manager at Sitevision, the fair is an obvious meeting place for the industry ecosystem.

– Elmia Subcontractor brings together the entire industrial value chain – from manufacturing companies to technology and digitalization partners. This is where the companies that drive Sweden’s and the Nordic manufacturing industry forward meet, says Jennifer.

For Sitevision, the fair is an opportunity to show how companies can connect their operations through smart information management, secure communication and AI-supported knowledge sharing – from factories and production floors to headquarters and partner networks.

– This is not about technology for technology’s sake, but about how digital solutions actually contribute to efficiency, safety and competitiveness. We are really looking forward to being there again, to meeting both old and new acquaintances and being inspired by everything that is happening in the manufacturing industry, says Jennifer.

Focus on SMART by Subcontractor – where industry meets innovation

This year, visitors will find Sitevision at SMART by Subcontractor, the fair's new initiative. Here, the company wants to show how their platform can become a central part of the industry's digital ecosystem by connecting the employee experience and the customer experience in the same place.

– At SMART by Subcontractor, we can demonstrate how industrial companies can use Sitevision to create modern intranets and digital workplaces for their employees, while building secure customer and partner portals that strengthen the entire value chain, says Jennifer.

Among other things, visitors will be able to see concrete examples of how AI is already being used today to improve safety communication, streamline knowledge search and provide faster access to the right information in production. Jennifer adds:

– We will also show how information can be easily shared between computers, mobile phones and digital screens so that the right person always has the right information, regardless of where they are.

Three trends shaping the digital future of industry

Sitevision sees three crucial trends that are already shaping the industry's digital journey forward.

- Knowledge sharing and skills transfer are becoming increasingly important as production is automated. Employees must be able to quickly access instructions and experiences, regardless of where they are, says Jennifer.

She also highlights increased requirements for security and regulatory compliance as a business-critical issue.

- Information security and compliance are no longer a sideline, they are a central part of the industry's competitiveness.

The third trend is AI and data-driven efficiency.

- We are seeing how AI is integrated into everything from intranets to customer portals. It's about making information accessible and usable - so that it really supports people in their work.

Digitalization as a concrete force for change

Sitevision's most important message to trade fair visitors is that digitalization does not have to be complicated. With a modern platform, it is possible to start on a small scale, for example with a new intranet or a customer portal, and then build on step by step to a comprehensive solution.

– We want to show that you can create great benefits with small, concrete means. A digital platform can make a real difference to both efficiency and safety, says Jennifer.

For employees, it is about quick access to the right information, mobility for field personnel and a culture of engagement and learning. For customers and partners, it means transparency, self-service and shorter time-to-market. And for management, the platform provides security with security, compliance and traceability as a foundation.

– In short: Sitevision helps the manufacturing industry build a digital foundation that is secure, cohesive and ready for the future.

The digital backbone of industry

With its solutions, Sitevision wants to be just that – the digital backbone of industry. A platform that connects people, processes and information in real time.
– Our customers in industry are already using Sitevision to reduce information gaps, increase security and create modern work environments where technology really makes a difference. That is exactly what we want to show at Elmia Subcontractor,” concludes Jennifer Wenchert.
