Collaborations of the future is made on the exhibition floor

Collaborations of the future is made on the exhibition floor
In order to deliver first-class products, well-oiled supply chains are required. Here, Elmia Subcontractor has become an important platform for Stacke Hydraulik.

As a leader in the manufacture of hydraulic cylinders for mobile and industrial applications, Stacke Hydraulik in Skillingaryd has two important core values: quality and delivery precision. Like all companies, it also faces challenges:

- In order to provide customers with the right quality at the right time, it is important to have the right subcontractors. We also need to understand our customers and their needs in depth – and find the right customers with sufficiently high standards who are interested in our level of quality, says Johan Nolberger, Sales Manager at Stacke Hydraulik.

Networking on multiple levels

Finding skilled expertise at product level, with experience of the type of products that Stacke manufactures, is also a challenge, as is the availability of materials and components. But as an exhibitor at Elmia Subcontractor, Stacke Hydraulik has found ways to meet all these needs.

- Yes, absolutely. Networking at Elmia Subcontractor is extremely important. It's nice to meet our existing customers at the fair and it's valuable to meet new customers, but building contacts with our own subcontractors is just as important, says Johan Nolberger.

"We're here to build relationships"

Sales staff are on site at the joint stand shared with three other sister companies.

- All our buyers are also here and will be walking around the exhibition halls during these days.

Because even though the product itself, customer-specific hydraulic cylinders, is the core of the business, the goal of the trade fair is not to showcase the product.

- We are here to build contacts, and Elmia Subcontractor is the only trade fair of its kind. Getting to meet colleagues in the industry is the icing on the cake, says Johan Nolberger.
