Areco back at Elmia Subcontractor – with new business area
– We see it as an excellent opportunity to present the newly formed business area Areco Industry in a forum where we can meet both existing and new partners, says Thomas Nilsson, Marketing Manager at Areco Industry AB.
Areco is a Swedish family business with roots that stretch back to 1944. Over the years, the business has grown into a strong industrial group that today includes five cooperating business areas: Areco Metals, Profiles, Direct, Properties and Industry.
The newest addition to the portfolio, Areco Industry, is a complete supplier in the steel and metal industry, offering products and services that meet high demands – regardless of whether it concerns customized solutions or extensive industrial projects. With operations in Malmö, Trelleborg, Askim and Skogås, the company covers everything from steel service centers to experts in stainless steel, metals and commercial steel.

Despite a world where distances have shrunk thanks to digital tools, Thomas Nilsson believes that the opportunity to meet “for real” makes a big difference for the company. Participating at Elmia Subcontractor is therefore a strategic choice for the company.
– The fair is a meeting point for the entire industry and gives us the opportunity to meet many of our partners in a short time. Despite the digital development, we see the personal meeting as invaluable, he says.
Elmia Subcontractor visitors can expect exciting things to happen at Areco’s stand, but exactly what is not yet revealed.
