With more than 56 years of experience in the industry, MABO is recognized as a benchmark in the production of small, high-precision mechanical components. Using advanced machinery and ISO-certified quality systems, the company serves industries such as automotive, aerospace, hydraulics, medical, and general mechanical sectors. While these capabilities define its operations, it is MABO’s participation at Elmia Subcontractor that has been particularly instrumental in expanding its presence in Sweden.
– MABO has participated in Elmia Subcontractor since 2014, and the Swedish market has always been very rewarding for our production of small precision mechanical parts. A key turning point came when we participated in the fair through the Italian Trade Agency. That initial step led to meaningful connections with Italian institutions in Stockholm and the broader Scandinavian industrial network. Since then, Sweden has become a key market for us, says Pierluigi Casadei, Vice President at MABO.
Over the years, MABO has used the fair not only to attract new clients but also to strengthen long-term relationships.
– The fair is highly professional, yet human in its approach. We see familiar faces return annually—from exhibitors to the attentive organizing team. It’s a place where trust and collaboration flourish alongside business opportunities, Pierluigi says.
The 2025 edition of Elmia Subcontractor marks the fair’s 50th anniversary. A milestone that also celebrates MABO’s journey in Sweden.
– This anniversary is not only a celebration of the fair itself but also a moment to reflect on how our presence in Sweden has grown over the years. Elmia continues to be an invaluable platform for building relationships, innovating in manufacturing, and connecting with people who share our values of quality, sustainability, and collaboration, Pierluigi continues.
MABO’s story also highlights the personal dimension of the fair.
– During all the events we have participated in, we have met many people, some of whom even have become personal friends. It is an excellent example of how professional contacts can develop into valuable partnerships, Pierluigi concludes.
