Our facility is fundamental to our business. We are committed to maintaining and developing it in line with market needs. We think naturally, circularly, and smart when it comes to energy, waste, material selection, and reuse, for example.

Here are some concrete examples:

Cold water from Lake Vättern

We cool our exhibition halls with water from Lake Vättern using pumps and heat exchangers. The water circulates in a closed system and provides energy savings of up to 670 MWh per year. Thanks to this, we have been able to remove approximately 800 kg of freon from our cooling system.

Solar panels

We have a solar panel installation with 800 solar panels covering 1,300 m2 of our roof area. It generates approximately 254 kW. This corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of 10 normal-sized houses or an electric car traveling approximately 100,000 km.

Waste management and sustainable products

We are constantly working to minimize and reduce our waste. And we make choices and take action to become more circular by increasing reuse, reutilisation and recycling.

Charging infrastructure

Our visitors have access to 38 charging points in our car park. We also have 16 fast charging points on site.

We renovate with reuse in focus

In 2024, we completed a renovation of the part of our facility that is used for conferences, congresses, and events, Jönköping Konsert & Kongress. We renovated the existing 1,500 chairs in the Hammarskjöldsalen and Rydbergssalen halls and chose to repaint and rebuild the other furniture. When refurbishing the outdoor environment, we use recycled materials.
