What’s happening in the garden industry?

Elmia Garden Trends brings together upcoming garden trends and directions for the garden, floristry and horticulture industry. Here, we highlight the patterns of change and style influences we’re seeing right now - and how they are taking shape in areas such as garden design, styling, and retail.

Elmia Garden’s trend guide provides a clear picture of the garden trends for 2027, presented in four different directions. We call them Pink Power, White Classic, Red Passion, and Green Tech. The trend guide includes insights on the outside world, inspiration, colors, materials, and plants.

Pink Power

Pink Power is a vibrant trend where pink meets earthy tones and turquoise. Flowering perennials, shrubs, and vegetable growing coexist in the garden. Creativity and female role models define this theme.

Elmia Garden Trends has been developed in collaboration with Jan Rundgren, designer and trend expert; Malin Hidesäter, project manager and creator; and Helena Kaasik, garden journalist and photographer. All three have a solid background in the garden industry and extensive experience in trend work.

At the Elmia Garden fair, the trend experts create stunning trend installations where Elmia Garden Trends are brought to life in physical form - an experience that stimulates all your senses!
