Sixty diplomats from 35 embassies present at the Tea-View of World Bioenergy 2010
How can we move forward after COP15 in Copenhagen? And how will the global bioenergy community be affected? What are the opportunities and potential for modern bioenergy? These were the questions at the ”Afternoon Tea-view of World Bioenergy 2010” held at the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. More than 60 diplomats from 35 embassies were there to learn more about Swedish and global bioenergy.

American company finds global customers in Sweden
Bioenergy technology is not the only thing to be showcased in Jönköping, Sweden during the World Bioenergy Fair from 25-27 May 2010. Access to world markets will also be on offer.

Awards Cermony at Elmia Nordic Rail and Elmia Future Transport 6-8 October 2009:
Future Transport Award
A brand new prize has been instituted to mark the future of transportation. The winner of the Future Transport Award will be presented at the Nordic Rail Buffet Wednesday October 7, at 19.00. Interest in the price is high, 2 200 people have already bought tickets to the event.

First prize-winners
Öresundståg and Port of Göteborg each received a newly established Future Transport Award on Wednesday evening, in separate categories. The prizes are awarded by Elmia in association with four leading Swedish trade publications, the aim being to highlight the transport solutions of the future.
Rail operator Öresundståg was awarded in the Travel Management category for its work with the Sydtaxan fare. The Intermodal Goods prize went to Port of Göteborg for its key efforts, alongside industry players, in developing 24 daily commuter rail journeys to 22 locations in Sweden.

– The Municipality of Jönköping’s 2009 Environment Award was presented during Elmia Wood
Elmia is not only a major trade show organiser – now the company has also been awarded for its environmental thinking.
Today Elmia accepted the Municipality of Jönköping’s 2009 Environment Award.
“We are proud that our environmental work has been recognised. It also gives our customers peace of mind that we take environmental issues seriously,” says Elmia Managing Director Hans Standàr.
