Activities at the fair in the form of a demonstration of insect search with a dog.
SnifferDogs Sweden trains and works with search dogs that are specially trained to find spruces that have recently been attacked by the spruce bark beetle. With 10 years of experience in using search dogs to map the spruce bark beetle, we offer a cost-effective way to find new infested trees. At Elmia Wood, we both describe and show how we use search dogs for this purpose.
