The specially developed concept Productivity Connect has one purpose: to be a time-efficient arena where companies can take part in pre-booked business meetings. The goal for the participants could be to increase their customer base, or to find new suppliers, new technology or business partners.
“I think it’s an interesting concept. I’ve been advertising our participation through various channels and have urged prospective customers to register as well,” says Katharina Nkenbo, head of marketing at Swisstec, who has registered for Productivity Connect.
This is the first time the company has taken part in a matchmaking initiative, and Katharina Nkenbo has high hopes for the results.
“I hope this will lead to a lot of bookings and interesting business meetings. If the outcome is 10 new customers I’ll be delighted.”
Productivity Connect focuses on business and production partnerships and is intended for manufacturing companies, systems integrators and suppliers of production equipment or smart production and service solutions, for example.
“This is a very effective way of finding new customers and business partners. The fairs themselves are an important arena for business. But with Productivity Connect, we are taking yet another step forward in Elmia’s drive for an even more competitive industry,” says Karla Eklund, Project Manager for Elmia Polymer.
The event is being arranged in partnership with Svenska Automationsgruppen (SAG – an alliance of automation industry associations), Enterprise Europe Network, Robotdalen (Swedish robotics initiative) and Almi Företagspartner (a company promoting the development of small and medium-sized businesses).
