In May 2010 Elmia Motek will be relaunched with the goal of becoming the nationally leading meeting place within the field of automation. Elmia Motek is a co-operation with Schall-Messe, the largest private fair organizer in Germany. Already know the support is strong from leading companies in the industry.

Elmia Motek has signed a contract with the two leading branch associations in the industry. Transmissionsgruppen (producers and suppliers of transmission equipment) and Hydraulik- och Pneumatik (The Swedish Association for Hydraulics and Pneumatics) will be co-operations partner for the fair 2010.

- We now have the opportunity to establish a new and strong platform for the industry. It is an exciting co-operation, says Johan Ingemansson, project director of Elmia Motek.

- A strong and focused industry fair like Elmia Motek is always a priority. We have gotten recommendation about the fair from many different sources and have now chosen to participate, says Lars Johnsson, CEO of Rittal Scandinavia one of the world leading producers of enclosures and housing technologies.

During 2009 the process of rebuilding Elmia's South Entrance has been in full action and in October the new entrance and lobby was opened. An investment of 3 MSEK which is an important step to creating a more attractive and better suited facility.

- We are working to develop the whole area around the fair, among other things the possibility of a hotel. That would be our next step, says CEO of Elmia, Hans Standàr.
