Terracut
– For small-scale scarification
It’s easy to attach the rotary cultivator blade to your brushcutter. And hey presto, you have a machine for small-scale soil preparation projects.
“A small plantation of a couple of hectares or an area that is hard to tackle using big machines. Or a field containing protected ancient monuments or the like – then Terracut works perfectly,” says Per-Erik Elfgren.
He quickly demonstrates on a few patches.
“When you’ve learned the knack of it you can do 150 such micro-sites an hour without difficulty.”
Spot scarification with Terracut has proven to have a number of advantages.
“There is less leaf throwing and therefore less need to do more clearing in the future. With Terracut you also avoid any damage to the ground and there is less risk of damaging any natural regeneration.”
For anyone who might not be interested in forestry, Per-Erik also describes other advantages of using Terracut with your brush saw:
“The cultivator works perfectly to remove weeds from flowerbeds and potato fields too!”
