JAPA wood processors:
Elmia Wood is our marketing forum!
“We exhibit at Elmia Wood because it’s the most effective way to reach the market.”
So says Bo Jadeborn, who has taken over the Swedish agency for the Finnish machine brand JAPA. At the fair he exhibited both JAPA’s well-known existing machines to their new wood processors.
The big attraction to the public was the wood processor, which both chops and splits wood. With the right raw material, the machine can process five cubic meters an hour. First the logs are sawn up with a saw chain and then a hydraulic ram pushes the log pieces against a splitting blade. This is the same method used by other machines on the market but JAPA offers a very stable and reliable machine.
The processor aroused great interest from fair visitors, not only from Sweden. Heating with wood is also increasing in other forested areas of Europe such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As a result, the section of Elmia Wood that was devoted to wood heating in all its forms attracted a large number of international visitors.
