Electric pole saw draws gazes skywards
A newly developed, battery-powered chainsaw on a pole from Pellenc made many visitors to Elmia Wood look up.
The Pellenc Selion is a lightweight, well-balanced and handy tool for pruning trees and removing branches.
Its lithium-ion battery pack is carried in a harness on the user’s back and the telescopic pole comes in a range from 130 to 300 cm. Using batteries reduces the load on the environment and means that the user avoids breathing in fumes. The pole saw is also quiet enough that hearing protectors are not necessary.
