Brazil is one of the largest global biofuel producers and exporters and what goes on in Brazil has a profound influence on the international trade of biofuels. A new session has therefore been added on Thursday 17/9 to cater for the widespread interest. Titled "Brazil: Biofuel Opportunities for Sustainable Development" the session reflects this pivotal role and discusses topical social and land-use policy issues, technology for biofuels and the evolution of biofuels usage in Brazil.
