The product register regulates which companies can exhibit at Elmia Subcontractor. It is equally important as a source of information for the visitors of the fair. By searching for products, manufacturing methods and materials they can find exactly what they are looking for.
It is extremely important that the exhibitors fill in the register correctly to make the searching correct. The idea is to only mark the product, manufacturing services or materials that they sell from the customers' perspective. For example, a company that sells springs should only mark springs in the product register and not the materials the spring consists of or the methods used to manufacture it. The purpose is not to misguide the visitors but to enhance the value of the fair for both parties.
