To make it easier for subcontractors in the automotive industry to contact new Tier 1 suppliers, we are organising Automotive Supplier Days – one of the three contact forums in the Subcontractor Connect matchmaking service. It is designed to bring about effective business meetings with opportunities for making contact with interesting companies.
Who is it for?
Automotive Supplier Days is being held for Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers in the automotive industry. In 2009, 13 Tier 1 and 46 Tier 2 companies took part in a total of 62 meetings. Just over one-third of the meetings led to further discussions.
What can it do for me and my company?
By participating in Automotive Supplier Days, you and your company position yourselves to meet future challenges. As a Tier 2 supplier, you have an opportunity to sit down in business meetings with companies that might otherwise be difficult to arrange a meeting with. They, like you, are focused on doing business and have a lot of interest in what your company has to offer. As a Tier 1 supplier this is a golden opportunity to find new suppliers with exciting ideas and product solutions. The foundation for an initial business contact couldn’t be better! Each meeting should be viewed as an open introductory business discussion lasting 25 minutes. It could lead to an order, or even a long-lasting business relationship.
How does it work?
You contact us to register your interest. All participating companies write a description of their business and their ideal collaboration in a corporate profile. These profiles are put together in an online catalogue. Using the catalogue, you can choose which companies you want to meet and vice versa. Your wishes are matched and result in individual timetabled meetings. You can then prepare for your meetings in your own time before you arrive at the fair. Each meeting lasts 25 minutes and each person can hold up to 20 meetings.
How do I register?
