geba Kunststoffcompounds GmbH will exhibit at Scandinavian’s most popular polymer trade fair Elmia Polymer in Jönköping.
As one of the leading European Full Service Compounders, geba is specialized in compounding engineering plastics and high performance polymers and operates plants in Germany, Austria and Spain. With the fair participation, geba aims at increasing brand awareness and sales in Scandinavia.
The customer oriented company is targeting the Scandinavian market, as its high quality tailor-made compounds are ideally suited for the innovative Scandinavian engineering environment.
“For us it is important to find the best possible solution for our customers,” states Peter Kläne, head of marketing at geba. “If a customer approaches us with an application which requires a combination of material properties that is not yet available on the market, we will develop a compound to meet the required specifications.”
This has led to ground-breaking compounds, such as electrically conductive materials, magnetic compounds with 80% steel and high density compounds with wolfram. In fact, it is not possible to list all of the successfully developed specialist compounds as there are so many of them.
There are four factors behind geba’s ability to inspire its customers: The combination of customer orientation, a wealth of experience, a deep material knowledge and the capability to understand a particular application and meet the challenge faced by the customer.
As well as the specialty compounds, geba offers a wide range of competitively-priced standard compounds, which are even available in customized colors.
The high quality of these standard compounds has been proven over more than 25 years in many different sectors. One such standardized compound PC/ABS gebablend, is listed by several OEM’s in the automotive industry who use it in a variety of car interior applications.
Further examples of standardized geba compounds are the colored, conductive and reinforced TPU’s of the Desmovit® series. Desmovit® is the registered trademark of geba’s long-term strategic partner Bayer. TPU’s in the Desmovit® series are developed jointly with Bayer MaterialScience and are exclusively produced and sold by geba. Furthermore, geba produces UL recognized and v-0 evaluated PC compounds.http://www.geba.eu/elmia_polymer
