“We got a stand that stood out”
Helly Hansen’s brief was clear: Elmia Exhibitor had to design and build a stand that reflects the company’s image while also attracting visitors.
The results exceeded expectations.
“We got a stand that attracted visitors and stood out. We’re very satisfied,” says Trond Kristiansen, sales promoter at Helly Hansen.
Helly Hansen focuses strongly on workwear for the Swedish market. So in the lead-up to Elmia Working Environment 2008, the company wanted to add some extra punch.
An attractive stand was a top priority.
“We contacted Elmia Exhibitor Service and gave a general outline of our structure and the colours we work with,” says Trond Kristiansen, who project managed the company’s participation at the fair.
Elmia Exhibitor Service had virtually free rein – which they made good use of. They sketched a stand that was very different to Helly Hansen’s previous versions. The new idea created a trendy yet welcoming impression, where colour and design were the message bearers.
“They had truly captured what we were after. We got a stand that was in complete harmony with our message and genuinely stood out. We received tremendously positive feedback for the stand, from clients and colleagues alike,” says Trond Kristiansen.
The fair stand worked so well that Helly Hansen will now use the same concept at events in other parts of Scandinavia.
“This really was absolutely spot on. It was a stand that stood out and attracted people, which is just what you want at a fair.”
