Elmia Arbetsmiljö: Work is Sweden’s largest arena for anyone with an interest in working environment issues. These are issues that Elmia is also passionate about, and has been since 1974 when the first working environment fair was organised in Jönköping.

Working life issues have, however, changed in recent years due to a new political agenda, changes in legislation and, quite simply, a changing world. The major challenges today are mainly in the psychosocial area. Consequently, companies’ needs regarding knowledge, products and services have also changed.

As a result of these changes, Elmia has decided not to organise Elmia Arbetsmiljö: Work 2012.

Instead we are mustering our strength and creating a modern, new meeting-place! We are doing this by involving our partners, authorities, politicians and, of course, our exhibitors and visitors. This is not something we can hurry, but our goal is clear. Elmia Arbetsmiljö: Work will remain the most important meeting-place for central working life issues also in the future.
