Sweco and Vectura form leading Nordic technical consultancy

31 July this year saw the merger of the two market-leading technical consultancy firms in transport and infrastructure, Sweco and Vectura. At Elmia Future Transport they are showing their strength in a shared stand.

Together, Sweco and Vectura now make up the biggest technical consultancy firm on the Nordic market with some 9,000 employees. Clients include the Swedish Transport Administration and major building contractors, as well as municipalities and private companies.
Sweco has projects in more than 80 countries around the world and is ranked as the 12th largest player in the world. The company is involved in virtually every major Swedish transport project.
Technical consultancy Vectura’s strength lie in railway-related solutions. Thanks to the merger with Sweco, the company can now give its clients an even more complete total solution.
“We will now be able to offer a broader field of expertise. Sweco has an extensive network of contacts in social structure and architecture, as well as being very far advanced when it comes to sustainability,” Catharina Saunders, editor-in-chief of customer magazine Transportarkitekten, explains.

Integration with Vectura is taking place this autumn, so Elmia Future Transport is the perfect launch pad.
“It’s an important fair for us and the perfect meeting-place,” says Saunders.
