Irum TAFLeading brands signing up for Forest Romania 2015

There is considerable interest in the first edition of Forest Romania among leading manufacturers of forest machines and equipment. Companies including John Deere, Komatsu, Irum/TAF, Ponsse, Noe, Konrad, Wyssen, TST and others have already booked both stands and demo areas at the fair site in Zizin and are now queuing up to select their location.

“We already know that the demonstrations will cover the entire range, with CTL harvesters, forwarders, skidders and cable systems being demonstrated in full operation,” comments Anamaria Deliu, project manager for Forest Romania 2015.

Forwarder culture gains ground in Romania 

Many machinery companies and contractors are talking about using forwarders for the long transport stretches down to the road system. John Deere is even saying that a “forwarder culture” is establishing itself in Romania. Radu Țițeiu of John Deere’s Romanian distributor, Elmas, explains what a forwarder culture involves.
