• Bluetongue results in changes at the fair - Elmia is organising seminars on bluetongue and a ‘breeders square’

Due to the outbreak of the viral disease bluetongue, the national cattle shows at Elmia Agriculture, Livestock & Technology have been cancelled.

  • Technology for a thriving agriculture

The central aspect of Elmia Agriculture, Livestock & Technology is the product exhibition. This is where you’ll find innovations and other exciting products displayed by manufacturers and importers alike. Many of the products on show will become important tools for a stronger agriculture in the future. The products voted Best in Show and Working Environment Product of the Year will also be on display at the fair.

  • Bioenergy – a growing opportunity

Renewable energy is generating a range of new business opportunities for farmers. The Bioenergiforum, jointly organised by LRF-Konsult, the Federation of Swedish Farmers and Elmia, will have the latest technology and information. The forum boasts experts and organisations with the right knowledge, ready for heated debate. A general review with a practical demonstration of bioenergy products will be held twice a day.

  • Good reasons to diversify agriculture

Local produce has been increasingly in demand, and for many it has become a natural source of income. In addition to exhibiting producers, the Food Square at this year’s fair will feature workshops, seminars and inspiration from successful innovators in this area.
We can also add that as far as possible, the food at Elmia’s restaurants will be provided by Swedish farmers and producers at this year’s fair.
